1. About this agreement

These terms apply to the website operated by Schwartz Residential & Commercial Cleaning and to cleaning services arranged through the website, by email, or by phone. They form the agreement between you and Schwartz Residential & Commercial Cleaning once a booking is accepted.

If a written quote or service confirmation contains a specific condition that differs from these terms, that written condition applies to the affected service.

2. Cleaning services

Schwartz Residential & Commercial Cleaning provides residential and commercial cleaning in and around West Norriton Township, Pennsylvania. Available work may include routine residential cleaning, office cleaning, deep cleaning, move-in or move-out cleaning, and post-construction cleaning.

The exact tasks, rooms, surfaces, access needs, estimated duration, and price depend on the property and the service selected. A booking covers the tasks listed in the quote or confirmation, subject to safe working conditions.

3. Quotes and bookings

A quote is based on the information you provide, including property size, condition, furnishings, requested tasks, and site access. Please give complete and accurate details. A material change may require a revised quote before work begins.

A booking is confirmed only when Schwartz Residential & Commercial Cleaning accepts the request and sends a written confirmation. Appointment times are estimates unless the confirmation states otherwise. Cleaning begins when the team can safely enter and work at the agreed property.

4. Your responsibilities

You must provide safe access to the property, identify fragile or valuable items, secure pets, and tell us about hazards, restricted areas, sensitive surfaces, or products that must not be used. Remove personal items from surfaces that need cleaning.

Children, guests, tenants, and employees must be kept away from active work areas when cleaning is underway. You remain responsible for valuables and for any alarm, key, parking, building access, or entry instructions needed for the appointment.

5. Safety and service limits

Schwartz Residential & Commercial Cleaning may decline or pause work where conditions create a health, safety, access, or property risk. This can include exposed wiring, active infestations, unsafe construction areas, bodily fluids, hazardous materials, excessive clutter, or surfaces that may be damaged by cleaning.

Cleaning does not repair defects or guarantee the removal of permanent stains, mould, odours, heavy buildup, or damage caused by age, wear, previous treatment, or unsuitable materials. We will tell you about a concern when it is reasonably apparent.

6. Pricing and payment

The price for your appointment is the amount shown in the accepted quote or booking confirmation, unless the agreed scope changes. Extra work requires your approval before it is added to the service.

Payment is due according to the instructions in the booking confirmation or invoice. You are responsible for accurate billing information and for charges that remain unpaid after the stated due date.

7. Cancellations and changes

Contact Schwartz Residential & Commercial Cleaning as soon as possible if you need to cancel, reschedule, change the property, or adjust the requested tasks. Any applicable cancellation or missed-access charge will be stated in the booking confirmation or communicated before the appointment where practical.

If the team cannot access the property at the agreed time, the appointment may need to be rescheduled and additional charges may apply. We may also change an appointment when staff safety, severe weather, building access, or another condition prevents attendance.

8. Concerns about completed work

Tell us promptly if a completed service does not match the agreed scope. Include the property address, appointment date, and a clear description of the concern so we can review it with you.

When appropriate, Schwartz Residential & Commercial Cleaning may arrange a reasonable return visit for an item included in the original scope. A return visit does not cover newly requested tasks, pre-existing damage, or conditions that were excluded from the booking.

9. Website use

Website content is provided for general information and may change without notice. You may use the website for lawful personal or business purposes. Do not submit false information, interfere with the website, attempt unauthorised access, or use another person's details without permission.

We take reasonable steps to keep website information current, but we do not promise that every page will always be available, complete, or free from errors.

10. Personal information

Information submitted through a quote request or booking enquiry is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Provide only information needed to respond to your request and arrange access or service.

11. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits a responsibility that cannot legally be excluded or limited. Subject to applicable law, Schwartz Residential & Commercial Cleaning is responsible only for direct loss caused by its proven failure to provide the agreed service with reasonable care.

We are not responsible for indirect loss, loss of business, loss of income, or damage caused by information you withheld, unsafe conditions, a third party, or an item that was already defective or unstable.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute should first be raised with Schwartz Residential & Commercial Cleaning so both sides have a fair chance to resolve it directly.

If a court finds one provision unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
